though Sarah and Jessica from Changes have been a couple for nearly eight years(that's forever in comic book land!) they are very happy (as am I) for their american friends!

okay, well, guess i'm glad i missed all that silliness. though, I will say i'll be glad when copyright laws get stricter and artists can't sell fan art of things they don't own. if you post fan art or do a commission that's fine selling it is another matter all together. This is one reason I license material so I can legally sell it and give a bit back to the original creators as well.
as for the confederate flag...it was and IS a racist symbol a little research is all that is needed to find that evidence. civil leaders even quoted about how it represented their right to own people that they viewed as lesser than them. do I think the General Lee car should remove it's flag? no. as it's a fictional TV show vehicle and i don't seem to remember much racism going on in Hazard county (political corruptness sure) but, government should most assuredly remove the flag from their buildings.
but, here's the big one...the US still has a LONG way to go to catch up with the rest of the world on a lot of things. there are so many problems they need to work out but, it seems people are still too pigheaded to see what the problems are with their country. i'm Canadian but have lived in Texas for a number of years and what i saw while there disgusted me whether it be a lack of strict gun laws or how healthcare is more or less non-existent or the sheer stupidity of the religious right and their fight against what they deem as "evil" and i just call love. I won't even go into that kettle of fish as it's one of the biggest problems the world still faces in believing in a bunch of 2000 year old fairytales. you want to talk about hate, look no further than the bible thumpers no matter how wrong they are.
but hey, that's just one trangender, bi-sexual, submissive persons opinions.
