Due to my massive workload of trying to get Zetraman, Ninja High School v.2 and the new volume of Changes ready for convention season  I need to take atleast one week off to concentrate on completing the restoration/touch up work on these upcoming collections. So, from March 9-16 I'll be  more or less offline working on them . I apologize to any fans that this may upset. I promise i'll be back as soon as I can and we'll get to the wedding  we've all been waiting for.

It's been a long time coming,  twelve years in fact but, finally,  NHS v.2 is coming out as a series of Trade Paper backs!  The entire 12 issue run of the classic Ben Dunn 1999-2000 series will finally be released  to the fans that have been patiently waiting these twelve years.  To say this was hard to accomplish is an understatement, will the books be perfect?  no, sadly they won't be as we are forced to release them in grayscale opposed to full color as they were originally printed. but, we are working so hard to bring the best possible experience to the fans that have been waiting so patiently.

I've always been about giving the fans what they want, from day one with my tiny company it's been my motto. A lot of companies do what they do for the almighty dollar and yes, I have to think about that as well but, I don't let it affect my
decisions on what to release I let the fans voices be my guide and the fans spoke aloud these last few years in their desire for NHS v.2 collections so, i'm very proud to finally be able to give it to them.  I'm also digging up all the cool extras I can for the TPB's in the way of unused pages, sketches, character designs etc to really round out the package.

As some may know i'm also offering a $75 pre-order package which consists of The Zetraman TPB (collecting  for the first time both zetraman mini-series & bonus materials) and of course, NHS v.2 vol's 1&2. The package also comes with a signed & numbered to 50 13X19 sized full color poster, 4 (of 12) color postcards and a limited edition Zetraman badge button as well as a CD of NHS v.2 in PDF format in full color the way it was meant to be. well, page 500 has been posted, almost 7 years ago when this series started i never thought i'd see it reach a number like 500 as most if not all of you know the story was supposed to end at page 135 but, here we are.  I know quite a few of you absolutely hated the last storyline, calling it too dark & violent and various other things as I have stated this was the LAST Snake related storyline and i'll never be going into this territory again aside from maybe flashbacks in the future.  So, the question remains... what next?   well, I'll be taking a week off next week to start on what happens next and give a bit more time to artists to draw their pin ups and shorts for the page 500 celebration. Then, after the epilogue we'll be going into Jack & Jen's wedding storyline so, it should prove to be quite a bit of fun.  There are a few other stories planned of course: Julie's baby, Talia & Christian's relationship, Jamie's School and of course lots more bonding/bondage for Jessica & Sarah.

page 500 is also the final page that will be in Color. I know a lot of you liked the addition of color over this last 100+ pages but, I feel I have not grown much better as a colorist in those said 100+ pages and that the color really doesn't add much to the series as a whole as well, due to the amount of time it takes to do a page (2-3X longer then doing B&W) I have decided to only do color for special strips, pinups, anniversaries etc.

I'm also planning an all new BDSM & You!  this time it will focus on relations and how things work or are used properly i'll be reaching out to my fellow lifestylers to get the widest range of ideas and tips.  look for that in the spring.

"More" Changes vol.4 was also just released and will be 25% off for it's first week in release so, be sure to pick it up! it's got a wonderful cover by Turbine.

So, once again in one  month  Changes will be celebrating , this time it's largest milestone to date. hitting page 500!  and what do I have in store do you ask ? well... not much really...  the Snake storyline will come to an end  and we will continue on.. atleast most of the characters will. and "More" Changes will be no more it will simply go back to being called Changes.  I do want to do something special of course so, I have penned five one page shorts for the major Changes characters . but, what i'd like to do is have these drawn by five different artists. You choose the character /story you want and draw it from my script. of course i'm also looking for pinups or shorts  if you'd like to submit something. I want to make this milestone the best yet as the next one won't be till page 1000 where the series will probably end. For good this time.

i've been pondering this a while. as much as I love doing Changes in color it takes a lot of time to do it that way and I feel like I haven't really improved as a colorist much so i have been considering going back to black and white with the series but, i'm leaving it up to you so, please vote on the poll if you'd like Changes to remain in color or, go back to black and white.

i've lost quite a few friends the last 2 years. five to be precise  and it has really made me think. I may not be around or something may happen to me before I can ever end Changes the way i have envisioned it so, though it is years off and only a select few before you have known how the series will end I thought i'd share the final strip/pages idea with you without hopefully giving much away.


*SPOILERS!!!!*



The strip will happen about 15-16 years into the future, Jamie is just going off to college and one of his mother's unexpectedly dies. it just happens. like life, it is sudden and devastating. we fade to a few days later of either sarah or jessica above the grave as rain begins to fall & jamie waits by the car.

the song, coming back to life is used instead of dialogue to show the past events of their life together these 20+ years and the spirit, perhaps a vision of the dead loved one dances with her wife one last time as the rain falls. the dance ends and Jamie takes his mother back to the car as she weeps but carries a smile knowing just how much the other meant to her.

and that is how it ends. no whimper, no bang. just memories of two lovers live's together. the happiest and saddest days of their lives. just like real life. and I do hope I can bring it to you in five or so years time but, if not . others now know and can make it their own if i'm unable to.

it has been a trying few weeks with the loss of one friend and now, to lose someone i very much respected as an artist.   I always loved seeing what Josey  would come up with next. The sheer creativity in each drawing was amazing and he always made every illustration of his pleasing to the eye , you just couldn't turn your eyes away. they  were that pretty.  Now, all we have is the art, it's a lasting and fitting tribute to someone that you could tell loved doing what he was doing but, i only wish we could have seen more.
